Tonight, we are having Pulled Pork with BBQ Sauce Sandwiches for dinner. My family likes the BBQ Sauce on the side, so that's how it's being served. We're also having some potatoes and a veggie.
Home Made Low Sodium BBQ Sauce
1 c. no salt added ketchup
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. molasses
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Heat until hot. Turn heat down to low and let simmer and thicken.
Makes about 20 servings (2 Tbsp. each).
