The Groovy Ghan is growing.
I now have 52 rows on it.
You'll notice that I've changed up the pattern a bit. Just look to the right side of it. I'm going to run it across that way and then switch back to the bigger areas again.
By the way, I'm only making this the size of a throw. Not a full sized afghan.
i love it
ReplyDeleteShelly, I have about 10 rows done of this type of afghan. I am working right to left, and not turning it. Now I noticed I have FRINGE on both sides, and also the left side will be running out of places to place a DC.
ReplyDeleteHELP! LOL
You're doing it right. Working right to left. I only have fringe on one side because I work the tail in as I'm going when I first start. When you run out of places for the DC, that's ok. It's supposed to be that way. You will start adding a DC on the left after you work so many rows. You would count over from the last dc worked until you get 10 sc stitches or so and then work one. For instance, I would work 10 rows after I work the first DC on the 2nd stitch. Then on the 11th row, I would do a dc in the 2nd stitch again. I know this probably doesn't make sense. I will try to think of a way to explain it better. Can you get a close up of my photo? Maybe you can see what I've done that way.
ReplyDeleteI should also add...I changed mine up at the beginning so go up to where I've started the 10 stitch gap and see if you can tell what I've done.
