Slouchy Hats and Pinecones

 Over the weekend, I had 3 orders for slouchy hats.  I whipped them out last night and this morning.  This is how I make the hats http://bookfairy43.blogspot.com/2011/07/slouchy-hats.html.  I use Simply Soft yarn and either an I or a J hook.  The I for medium sized heads and the J for larger heads.

Then, I've spent the last hour figuring out how to make these pinecones.  The pattern can be found here.  http://planetmfiles.com/2008/12/18/free-crochet-pine-cone-pattern/ .  I have 3 of them done and plan to make a couple more.  I'm hoping to head to Wal-Mart this afternoon when Small T gets out of school so I can buy some pretty ribbon to dress the pinecones up.
