Heart Garland

I finished up the heart garland yesterday. I used the crocheted heart pattern from the blog Little Birdie Secrets. Everything was made with Red Heart yarn that I had on hand.

Crochet Hearts

This is my progress on the crocheted hearts. I have 5 of each color finished. I worked on them for a bit last night when I got home from work. I'm using Red Heart worsted weight yarn and an I hook. I need to weave in the ends yet, but that's an easy thing I can do just about anywhere (even work). These little hearts are made using this pattern http://littlebirdiesecrets.blogspot.com/2010/01/how-to-crochet-heart.html . I plan to do a few more of these in white and then I'll see if I have enough of them for a garland. I'll probably have to make a few more. But that's no big deal.

5 Petal Flowers

Aren't these just the cutest little flowers you've ever seen? The pattern is called "5 Petal Flower" and can be found on the blog "Little Birdie Secrets". She's on blogspot, if that helps. I'm making up these little flowers and using them to make a surprise for my nieces, Sassy and Pattycake. I'll show you the finished product when it's done. That way it stays a surprise. :)
