My Last High School Graduate

Five days after my last final, Small T graduated from High School.
We kicked off the celebration weekend with a huge family BBQ on that Saturday.
Here's Small T holding her cake up for a photo.
Two of her cousins were also graduating and we all partied together.
Z is on the left, Awan in the middle, and Small T on the right.
These three were in the same class, in the same school.
Z belongs to my youngest sister, Annie, and Awan belongs to my second youngest sister, Marie.
Could any three kids look so different? Crazy, right?
The next day, Sunday, was graduation or commencement.
Here is Small T receiving her scholarships.
 She's receiving her diploma.
And now she's graduated. Look at that smile!
Once again, the three cousins. :)
The three moms with their children beside them.
At the actual graduation party we held for her. I love this blue dress she is wearing and she's also got on the pearls that my uncle gave to her when she was 13.  Every girl needs a good set of pearls, in my opinion.
Her graduation cake, cupcakes, and a small photo collage.
It turned out to be a wonderful, yet hectic, day.
Congratulations Tianna!

Graduation

Big C graduated from High School this past Sunday, May 19th.
He was one of ten graduating seniors.
Big C with Big Daddy and I.
 Big C and Small T.
Big C and Grandma (my mom).
We had a lot of family from out-of-town stay with us over the weekend.  We ended up opening up the camper in order to hold them all.  :)  After graduation, we held a big BBQ at our home for our friends and family to celebrate his big day.

Thursday (Thanksgiving)...

We had a lot of family at our house for Thanksgiving Dinner.  It was wonderful!
As soon as they left, the kids started in with their usual arguing and fighting.  But, this time, they were playing, for the most part.  Luckily.
Big C hiding from Small T.
Big C and Small T getting some licks in, after Small T bombarded him with rolls of toliet paper.
Medium J getting in on the act, and being walloped by Big C.  Small T is walking away after getting a few licks in herself.
Then I was rewarded by an unexpected gift.  A package of photos that my ex-husband found.
It included my graduation photos (from high school).
I can't believe how young I looked.
I also found this great bit of black mail.
A photo that included my four younger sisters.
I've already started the black mail process.  Ha!
Thursday evening, we hit the 8 pm sale at Wal-Mart.  Big Daddy, Big C, Small T and I went.  It was Small T's first year of going shopping on Black Friday.  We got everything we went there for and spent $167.64 which was well under my allotted budget.  Here's what we got:
4 pairs of Wrangler Jeans at $9.50 each
2 pairs of Rustler Jeans at $6 each
undershirts for $8
boxers for $8
17 movies at $1.96 each
5 TV series boxed sets at $9.96 each
and four 20 ounce soda's at $1.58 each for the thirsty shoppers
Overall, we saved $107.84 on our purchases.
Job well done!  And worth the chaos!

A Boy And His Car

My oldest son graduated from High School back in May. As his graduation and "going off to college" gift, we bought him a car to replace the "junker" we made him drive around town. Here's a photo of him and his car. What do you think? Do you think he likes it? I know that he's very proud of it. He likes having "snappy" wheels. LOL By the way, he's in a tux waiting in front of his date's house for the trip to Prom. The car is a PT Cruiser, in case you can't tell.
