Today's Crochet Goal

I set myself a goal today for my crocheting. The goal was to get five slouchy hats done. It's probably an unrealistic goal, but hey...it's good to have a goal. Anyway, here is a photo of the first three hats. Small T chose the colors.

Miss M And Her Crocheting

Miss M has become a crochet addict! She's back again today. She finished her first earflap hat and has started another.

She's using two yarns held together and I have never considered using two different variegated yarns in a project.

Here she is, working on the hat.

And this is what the colors are looking like when worked together. They actually look really good! I've learned a lesson today about putting yarns together.

Big Daddy's Creative Cooking

Big Daddy made a late lunch today. Sandwiches. Fried egg, Bacon, Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato on Toast. Mayo was optional. Surprisingly, it was quite good.

A First!!!

Miss M (Medium J's girlfriend) finished her first crochet project. It's an adult earflap hat. She worked on it one day last weekend with me, and finished it up today.
Looks good, doesn't it? She chose her own colors, and I must say...I love it!

Big C and the Pecan Festival

Big C had an important job during the Pecan Festival Parade....

He and his truck pulled the float containing the King and Queen and her court!

I was a bit worried about this, as Big C is only 16 and sometimes, not the best driver, but it went well in the end. Whew!
