Neat Ripple

My Neat Ripple afghan is finished.
Woo Hoo!
Happy Dance!
One more Christmas present added to the pile.
So...what do I like about this blanket?  I love the color combination.  The black and the amethyst go so well together.  I also love the pattern.  It was super easy to follow and once you got the hang of it, you could just crochet away.  No need to keep glancing at the pattern.  This pattern also worked up very fast.  I like those kind of projects.
Is there anything I didn't like about this pattern?  Nope.  Seriously.
Would I make this pattern again?  Definitely.  This is my second blanket using this pattern so far.
Blanket Particulars:  2 (7 oz.) skeins of black plus 1 (14 oz.) skein of black with just a tiny bit leftover; 2 (7 oz.) skeins of amethyst with more than half of the last skein leftover.  I used my favorite size I hook.  I crochet 4 rows of black and 2 rows of amethyst for the pattern sequence.
My husband is holding this blanket up for the photo.  He's 5 ft. 11 in. tall, so the blanket is a good length.  I needed that because it's made for someone "taller than me".  I'm a shorty.
