Last night, I decided I needed some crocheting time to go with all the knitting I've been doing. I broke out a pattern from my "wish I could make this" pile and made the Yokin' Around Cardi.
This is how it turned out. Cute, right?
Pretty close to the photo in the book, even though I wasn't aiming to use the same colors. I was using up some yarn out of my stash and I just happened to have enough of both the white and the pink.
The pattern I used was in this book. It's one I bought last Summer at Wal-Mart on a spur-of-the-moment shopping decision. I know this, because I seldom buy patterns or pattern books. There are so many free patterns out there on the net that you can usually find exactly what you are looking for.
Anyway, back to the cardigan. It's a Stash-busting For Stashaholics project since the yarn came out of my stash. I used some Caron's Simply Soft yarn in White and Soft Pink.
