Well, I'm trying out "knitting" again. I know how to cast on and how to do the knit stitch, but that's about it. So...I'm practicing my knit stitch again. A few months ago, I ripped out my previous piece that I was working on and then I didn't pick up the needles again. I needed a quiet activity this morning with everyone still asleep, so this was it. I'll have to see where this leads me. :)

ReplyDeleteYou will find it easy to do the purl stitch if you just simply watch a video. You really just bring your yarn forward and put your needle in from the opposite direction. Well, I think that is all you do. I just do it without thinking about exactly what I do. But it's not hard.
i've been watching some video's on you tube. i think it's easier to do it that way than use a book. thanks for all your help. i'm trying to stick with it. i refuse to let it beat me. lol
ReplyDeleteshells, i feel for ya, i really do! being a {k}new {k}nitter myself, it's frustrating to not be able to do what you want...but when you do, you are so friggin' thrilled that you grin like a ninny~ijit! grinning like one now, debra
