Armchair Remote Caddy - Free Pattern

Yesterday evening, I felt "at loose ends" so I decided to whip out an armchair caddy for Big Daddy's TV remote control.  I had posted a photo of one earlier in the week but it didn't have a pattern, so I made it up as I went.

This is what it looks like when laid flat.  There is a pocket along the bottom, which is 2 squares joined together with 4 rows of sc across the top of the pocket.

finish off.

For the back of the piece, join 8 of the squares together with it being 4 squares by 2 squares in shape.  Or 4 vertical by 2 horizontal.

For the front of the piece, join 2 of the squares together horizontally.  Work 4 rows of sc evenly along the edge of the top of the piece.

Put the smaller piece on top of the larger piece with them lined up at the bottom of the pieces.  Sc around the outer edge to join the two pieces.  Then, work 1 round of dc around the entire outer edge of the piece.  Fasten off.  Weave in all ends.

  2. i don't get how it stays on the chair when you put stuff in the pocket it would weight it down so how do you keep it from falling off

    1. I'm making mine long enough to go underneath the cushion. My bodyweight will hold it in place.

    2. Put pockets on both ends to counter balance each side
